Of Whiskers & Paws

Once I saw a cute little kitty
And oh my, it was so pretty
With it's fur so black all through
And hazel eyes; I can't believe it's true
For a being so small gives me joy so big
To watch it crawl into the desk and sleep
All curled up it makes me weep

When I get it some food to eat
You'll see it gobble up as if a treat
Slowly it settles balled up on my lap
And purrs falling for my sweet trap
But the only way to a cat's heart
Is to feed it some fish
And make a furry wish!

Wishes

When life takes its awfully
Worst turn and
Whatever good that once
Was is all lost, You must still
Wade through the swamp for,
Wonders ahead wait to fulfil your
Wishes.

The Animal Instinct

Climb, crouch, crawl and creep
Till you reach the forest in the deep.

Whistle, woot, wave, but don't weep
Cuz there's no more a warm bed to sleep.

Lie, limp, lag or maybe leap
Into the dark valley so steep

Hustle, hoot, hurt and hunt
For food you must not stay so blunt.

No use of ranting, running or being rational
You are one of us, You are an animal.

Joy

A feeling just anyone can describe
Thousands earn it but none can bribe
Being right on top of the World
Diving into chocolate and spun and swirled
Although it's still a pursuit for so many
We can only see it come and go
And never hold it forever, so.

Rain

Rumbling clouds gather
Returning me to the
Realm of Trance.
Roaring thunder fills me up with
Rapture as I
Roam about and down comes the
Rain pouring on me.
